Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled IoT Engineer to design, develop, and deploy innovative Internet of Things solutions that bridge the gap between physical devices and digital systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IoT architecture, sensor integration, connectivity protocols, and data analytics. You will play a key role in building intelligent systems that enable seamless data collection, monitoring, automation, and control across industrial, commercial, or enterprise environments.
As an IoT Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and data scientists to create scalable and secure IoT ecosystems. Your work will involve integrating hardware sensors, embedded devices, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal data transmission and system reliability. You will also be responsible for maintaining device communication integrity, optimizing network performance, and ensuring the security of IoT devices and data pipelines.
This role requires a deep understanding of embedded systems, wireless communication protocols, cloud platforms, and edge computing principles, along with a strong problem-solving mindset to develop efficient and innovative IoT solutions that power the next generation of connected technology.
Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage end-to-end IoT architectures from sensors to cloud platforms.

Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers, embedded devices, and gateways.

Integrate and manage IoT devices using communication protocols like MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, or LoRaWAN.

Collect, process, and analyze IoT data to enable automation and predictive insights.

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.

Implement and monitor security measures for data transmission and device integrity.

Work with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT, etc.) for data storage and analytics.

Optimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or device issues.

Research emerging IoT technologies and propose innovative solutions for industrial or consumer applications.

Document system architecture, configurations, and processes for scalability and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in IoT system design, development, and deployment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi) and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, Modbus, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, BLE, etc.).
- Experience with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
- Knowledge of edge computing, data acquisition, and real-time analytics.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices in IoT environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to system reliability.
- Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication abilities.
